Loretta has over five decades of experience working in dental care and has been with Pine Mountain Family Dentistry since 2014. She handles the typical dental assisting work with expanded duties procedures. Loretta says she’s stayed in dentistry for so long because she loves taking care of people who need it most. One of her favorite things about smile care is seeing the amazing difference in a patient before and after they complete treatment. Loretta says she ended up on this career path after hearing that her dentist needed help while still in high school. She was offered on-the-job training at age 15 and has been loving dentistry ever since. Loretta says that if she wasn’t working in dentistry, she’d simply hang up her dental assistant cap, retire, and do some traveling. Loretta has volunteered with the dental mobile unit providing care for the less fortunate. She loves Alabama football, playing with her dog Cooper, spending time with her husband, camping, shooting guns, and shopping.
