Dr. Dustin Petry is no stranger to the community. He spent his early years enjoying all that Coweta County has to offer. Dr. Petry went on to graduate from Northgate High School. Unsure of where his career would take him after high school, Dr. Petry enrolled in the University of Georgia later graduating with a business degree. Following graduation, Dr. Petry set up a life in Atlanta selling real estate in Atlanta for eight years.
Dr. Petry says he always knew he wanted to return to the Pine Mountain area to be closer to family, and after some debate, he decided to switch career paths. He chose to go to dental school because he always wanted to do something where he worked with his hand and, more importantly, helping folks like you. When his friend graduated from medical school, he recommended Dr. Petry check out dentistry. That’s how it all started.
Dr. Petry went on to earn his doctorate in dental medicine from the Dental College of Georgia. Now he gets to be both a smile artist and a healthcare professional who truly cares about his patients and their oral and overall health. Dr. Petry is a member of the Georgia Dental Association and the American Dental Association.
He and his wife Julie have two children and live locally in LaGrange. Outside of work, Dr. Petry loves all things outdoors including fishing, shooting skeet, and surfing and wakeboarding with his family.
